Honey Glazed Chicken Recipe
Our DIY projects can be so time consuming that we forget to eat! So when hunger strikes, we figure out what we're hungry for, and improvise!
Here's a simple recipe that will taste like you've just ordered from your favorite Asian restaurant:
What You'll Need
Air Fryer (conventional oven works too)
sesame seeds (optional)
Preheat air fryer to 365°F (if using an oven, set it to 375°F).
Sprinkle salt, pepper, and spray oil on your chicken while air fryer is warming up.
When air fryer beeps telling you to "Add Food," go ahead and place your chicken inside. Keep in mind that the top tray will cook faster.
Set your timer to 45 minutes, but you must keep an eye on it so you can turn your chicken every 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, rotate your chicken. Place it back in the air fryer.
Wait another 15 minutes, then switch top and bottom trays. Place it back in the air fryer.
After another 15 minutes, rotate your chicken again. Place it back in the air fryer.
Prep your glaze by mixing all the sauce ingredients (above) together in a bowl.
After the last 15 minutes, brush your chicken with your sauce and place it back in the oven at 365°F.
Check to see if your chicken is browning (or burning). It should take anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes to do so.
Turn chicken and place it back in the oven to get the other side.
After another 3 to 5 minutes, switch top and bottom trays.
After another 3 to 5 minutes, turn chicken again so it gets glazed on the other side.
After another 3 to 5 minutes, remove your chicken from the air fryer, place it on a plate, and ENJOY!
